Over the years, Jeff Greenwald, M.A., MFT, transformed his mental approach in competition and has a unique gift in helping other athletes do the same. Jeff has helped a variety of athletes improve their decision-making under pressure, elevate their confidence, and empower them to get what they need from their support team. As a result, athletes find themselves performing at their peak more consistently with greater enjoyment and winning more with less effort. Jeff is committed to creating the optimal environment for athletes that greatly increase their chance for success. Jeff teaches athletes practical strategies and tools that help them flourish under pressure. He draws on his own transformation as a former professional tennis player and merges this expertise in sport with his training as a licensed family therapist and sport psychology consultant. Jeff’s personal achievements in sport and mastery of the mental game help him draw out the best in every athlete he works with. Jeff Greenwald, has guided literally thousands of athletes to perform with more self-confidence, less physical and mental tension, develop a pin-point focus on the task at hand, and establish more decisiveness under pressure. Jeff has worked closely with athletes in both individual and team sports and has been successful in teaching strategies that facilitate rapid improvement because they are research-based, yet always customized to the athlete. Jeff’s passion and integrity let every athlete know that they are cared about while they receive the most current information available because he stays on top of the work in his field.

At the end of the program, athletes will learn to embrace pressure, have the ability to reduce muscle tension on demand, develop perspective under stressful conditions, and will have a written road map for their short and long-term goals with built-in accountability. Homework between sessions is an important part of this program allowing athletes to learn and train the skills they develop in the program.
